A Journey Through History, Cheese, and the Landscapes That Inspired Cervantes
Our day begins with a visit to Villanueva de los Infantes, a charming town widely regarded as the place in La Mancha immortalized by Cervantes. We stroll through its grand main square, elegant courtyards, and narrow streets, each echoing stories of knights and nobles from the Order of Santiago.
We then continue to a historic artisan cheese dairy with more than 200 years of tradition, where we discover the art of crafting authentic Manchego cheese. Here, we take part in a vertical tasting experience that reveals the unique characteristics and flavors developed at each stage of maturation.
Lunch is hosted by Chef José Antonio Medina, who presents his acclaimed tasting menu, Memories and Remembrance, awarded both a Michelin Star and a Repsol Sun. Through each course, the rich flavors and traditions of La Mancha’s finest local ingredients come to life.
